Scrollbar Linux Packages

You do not need to install Scrollbar Linux to use most of what it contains!

While a number of defalt behaviors are set directly in the live user's .config folder, all of the GTK themes, icon themes, etc. are distributed as Debian packages. At present I am maintaining 30+ packages of my own that are not taken from Devuan or other upstreams. Most of my packages would need linting issues resolved to be submitted to upstream Debian, but they are usable, and I have done my best to comply with all open-source licenses.

If you like anything here well enough that you think I ought to push for it to be included upstream, let me know. Conversely, if you find any major mistakes in how I have credited authors, etc., let me know! My email is on the maintainer line of the packages.

Downloading Packages Directly

If you do not want to install large portions of Scrollbar Linux's package collection, the best approach is to browse the package pool and download individual .deb files. Sorry, I don't have a pretty web front-end for this yet!

Enabling Scrollbar Linux's Package Repository

You can enable Scrollbar Linux's entire package repository in apt by adding the following to /etc/apt/sources.list:

deb https://scrollbarlinux.com/scrollbar unstable main contrib non-free

At this stage of Scrollbar Linux's development, there is only an "unstable" — and you should really treat it as unstable! Not only may my extra packages break, but may in the future, ship alternate versions of packages already present upstream, which you may not want. You will also need to trust the key Scrollbar Linux packages are signed with by downloading it to /etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/scrollbar.asc.
